Know the trade-offs.
Software, not a promised outcome
CVEST provides portfolio visibility and rule-based execution tools. Its rankings are pricing heuristics, not evidence that a strategy will be profitable. No investment return, income level, or suitability for your circumstances is guaranteed.
Defined risk still means risk
Matched protective options can limit a structure’s terminal option payoff. They do not eliminate losses, exchange failure, changing collateral value, margin requirements, or liquidation risk. Early-exit thresholds are attempts to close with limit orders; quotes can move, liquidity can disappear, and orders can fill partially.
Current scope
The automated options loop supports ETH options on OKX. Local IBKR tickets support cash-funded USD stocks, ETFs and long options with manual management; an expiring long option may exercise into underlying exposure. Deribit is read-only and comparison-only. Hosted IBKR access is not available yet. Monitoring covers information available to each connection. TradingView portfolios use owner-provided CSV imports, not a direct retail-account API. Missing sources, limited archive windows, and stale data are identified in the workspace.
Simulations and records
Paper fills are simulated. Fast replay uses synthetic prices and an accelerated clock; neither is a verified historical backtest. Old trades cannot acquire option-chain observations that were not recorded at the time. Illustrative photography does not depict actual CVEST customers.
Before using live execution
Review your venue’s rules, eligibility, fees, and account settings. Understand each strategy and its exit limits. Keep API keys private and inspect your exchange account independently. Questions? Contact ML LABS.
