What you actually look at

The whole decision,
on one screen.

Structure, protection, cash and limits sit together before anything reaches your venue.

Illustrative workspace. Not a live account, not a recommendation, not a forecast.
From intention to execution

A plan you understand.
A process you can follow.

You don’t need a trading desk. You do need to know what your money is doing—and why.

01

Set your boundaries.

Choose a budget, strategy preferences, and exit rules. Compare the premium, protection, and cost of each eligible structure.

02

Put the plan to work.

CVEST buys protective options before selling premium, tracks actual fills, and manages the position toward its next exit decision.

03

Keep the whole story.

See what entered, what changed, and why a position closed. Quotes, strategy inputs, and outcomes stay connected in your history.

Automation should earn your trust

The decision is
never hidden.

A strategy is more than a buy or sell button. Open the details to see the delta considered, the prices available, the protection selected, and the rule behind an exit.

  • Clear limits before a new position
  • Visible reasons to hold, close, or wait
  • Pause new entries without hiding open risk

Who this is for

Two kinds of investor.
One standard of clarity.

Defined-risk options are not a beginner’s instrument. They are readable once the reasoning is in front of you.

Keep your venueThe reasoning, in the open.

The experienced investor

You have run your own capital for years and you are tired of platforms that hide the reasoning. Keep your venue, keep your judgement, and stop rebuilding the same spreadsheet every quarter.

The ambitious newer trader

You understand the instruments and you are building the habit. Start on paper, read why a structure was chosen or skipped, and keep the record that turns a year of trades into something you can learn from.

Where the software stops

What CVEST
will not do.

The honest boundary is part of the product. Everything below is also stated on the risk page.

  • It does not hold your money.

Assets stay with your exchange or broker. The executor uses a trading key without withdrawal permission and initiates no transfer or borrowing.

  • It does not promise income.

Selling options collects premium and can still lose money. Protective options limit a structure’s terminal payoff; fees, liquidity and liquidation remain.

  • It does not guarantee a fill.

An exit rule is an attempt to close with limit orders. Quotes move, liquidity disappears, and orders can fill partially or not at all.

  • It does not backtest your past.

Paper fills are simulated and fast replay uses synthetic prices. Old trades cannot acquire option-chain observations that were never recorded.

  • It does not route across venues.

Deribit is read-only and comparison-only. Hosted IBKR access is not available yet, and automatic cross-venue routing is not part of the private beta.

  • It does not advise you.

Rankings are pricing heuristics. Nothing in the workspace is a recommendation, a suitability judgement or a forecast of your result.

Good questions. Straight answers.

Understand the essentials.

What can CVEST execute today?
Private beta executes defined-risk ETH option spreads, iron condors, and iron butterflies through OKX. Portfolio monitoring covers the connected account’s supported assets, not just ETH. Local IBKR tickets support cash-funded USD stocks, ETFs and long options with manual position management. Deribit is read-only and comparison-only; hosted IBKR access and automatic cross-venue routing are not yet available.
Does CVEST guarantee income or prevent losses?
No. Selling options collects premium but can still lose money. Protective options limit the terminal payoff of a matched structure; fees, liquidity, collateral movements, margin requirements, and liquidation remain risks. An exit rule is an attempt to close, not a guaranteed fill.
Can I see why it takes—or skips—a trade?
Yes. The workspace exposes strategy comparisons and the inputs behind a selection. New trades preserve their entry settings, quotes, Greeks, execution records, and exit decisions. You can export that record for your own analysis.
Do you hold or move my funds?
CVEST does not take custody of your assets. Execution uses your exchange’s API. The current executor requires a trading key without withdrawal permission and does not initiate transfers or borrowing. Your account remains subject to the exchange’s terms and risks.
